This special breakfast meeting for both men and women in ministry was held in cooperation with Galilee Bible College in the historic town of Acre. About 90 ministers from several churches around Israel joined together in fellowship aboard a boat called “Acre’s Queen.”
Breakfast was served in the lower hall of the boat followed by a time of fellowship on the boat deck including sailing for half an hour in the Mediterranean Sea.
Mrs. Dina Katanacho, the director of the Bible House, and her husband Rev. Dr. Yohanna Katanacho, the academic dean of Galilee Bible College, facilitated the fellowship time.
The attending couples were asked to fill up a questionnaire and then compare their answers, and see how compatible their answers were. The activity brought much laughter to the attendees and contributed to the positive atmosphere of the event.
Mrs. Katanacho announced the upcoming publication and launching of The Bible for Better Family and of The Premarital Manual. We will publish special news articles for both publications in the coming future.
The Bible House gave a devotional book titled My Brother’s Keeper as a present to the attendees. The book was published by the Arab Israeli Bible Society, The Bible Society in Israel and the Palestinian Bible Society. The devotions were written by Arab Christians from Israel, Palestinian Christians and Messianic Jews, each in his and her own language. The books was translated into Arabic, Hebrew and English and it is available for sale at the three Bible societies in the Holy Land.
