After a break of two months, we held another breakfast meeting for women in ministry at the Bible House center in Nazareth.
Following a delicious catered breakfast, the women gathered to share rich spiritual food. The key note speaker was Narmeen Haj, who shared from John 15:1-11, highlighting from a woman’s perspective the example of the familiar ‘branch and vine’ image as similar to a child in the womb connected to his mother through the umbilical cord.
The meeting welcomed two representatives from Pro-Life Israel: Ma’ayan Leonard and daughter Tehila Leonard, who both shared about their ministry to protect the lives of infants in the womb and the importance of preventing abortion from a theological perspective.
May’ayan and Tehila are Christians from a Jewish background. Pro-Life Israel attempts to prevent the more than 50,000 abortions performed in Israel each year. Last year, over 100 babies were saved from abortion through the efforts of Pro-Life.
The meeting ended with prayer for all the women and their individual ministries and especially for the unborn children of the nation.
